I'm a frontline worker at Peer St.
I'm excited to be part of the Peer St. team, where we offer personalised support built on real experience and understanding of mental health challenges. Struggling is human – we get it, and we're here to help.
As a mental health psychosocial support worker, I bring a genuine, empathetic approach rooted in my own lived experience. I aim to meet people where they are, offering a non-judgmental, person-centred approach that honours each individual’s unique journey.
My own story includes being diagnosed with epilepsy in my teens, which led to anxiety, stress, and eventually depression. Over time, mental health support, counselling, and mindfulness helped me understand myself better, manage my condition, and find light in dark times. This journey inspired me to pursue a career in mental health and support others to feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Empowerment is central to my work – I aim to create a safe space where people feel supported to take control of their own mental health journey. My goal is to walk alongside individuals, helping them find their own path to healing. I know the power of support – it helped me overcome what I once thought was impossible. The first step is asking for help, and from there, each step gets a little easier. I’m here to support you on your journey.
