curtis, Curtis Mumford

Curtis grew up watching his younger brother navigate a world not built for him. That shaped everything about how he works now — practical, patient, and genuinely invested in the person in front of him.

Having a younger brother diagnosed with Autism 20 years ago significantly influenced my life journey.

Seeing the 'support' that he was receiving, I figured we could do better than sitting in the car park, staring up at the sky.

That led me to learning how to create an environment where he could participate & have the same opportunities as everyone else.

It turns out there's a lot to learn in facilitating somebody's growth, not just imposing your own ideas onto them.

This drove me to look more & more into Psychology, Behavioural Science, Neuro-linguistic programming, the works — to figure out which techniques resonated, which didn't & most importantly how to share the journey together so he wouldn't feel like he was always alone.

The best part was that as he grew, so did I.

This led me to move away from business development & instead focus on how we can help people develop. Especially people who could really use a leg up.

So that's what we do now: work out how to help people help themselves.
